Position: Supply Chain/Logistics Coordinator
Description: S. Abraham and Sons is hiring an Inbound Freight Coordinator to perform a variety of logistic duties related to the flow of goods into multiple distribution centers located in the Midwest. This full time entry level position requires coursework in logistics and supply chain.
Daily Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Schedules and coordinates the routing of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Coordinate inbound shipping
• Choose the appropriate trucking companies based on freight rates
• Negotiates rates, delivery terms, freight rates, and classifications with carriers; analyzes service performance
• Schedule pickups
• Prepare all necessary paperwork for shipments
• Coordinate and schedule material moves between warehouse
• Processing return authorizations

May do the following: perform logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life cycle of product; develop and implement logistics program activities, technical documentation; resolve logistics problems; compile data on standardization of logistic activities

Description: These positions require selecting products based on customer orders.

Shifts: Sunday-Wednesday, 2nd Shift: 3pm-1am. Pay for this position is $9.36/hr plus $1.00 per hour attendance bonus. With attendance bonus, $10.36/hr. This is a full time position with benefits after 90 days and 401(k) at 6 months.

Position: Night Shift Manager - Walker, MI
Description: Summary
Supervises all outbound freight and oversees the timely selection of product. Supervises the order processing and shipping of product to the customer.

Principal Duties
Leads and develops employees to achieve results and maximize their potential.
Oversees proper placement, stocking, and rotation of product to minimize lost sales.
Supervises the order processing operation and loading of trucks.
Directs the cigarette stamping and promotional activities.
Maintains accurate production records for the purpose of monitoring the work flow and employee productivity performance.
Completes employee performance reviews and recommends salary adjustment where applicable.

Position: Drivers - Shuttle ($3,000 Sign-On Bonus)
Description: We have openings for a drivers to run 5 nights per week from Columbus, OH to our Indiana distribution center and back. Responsible for pulling doubles trailers and for hooking/unhooking trailers and keeping product secure. Must have CDL-A License and doubles endorsement. Schedule is approximately from 9pm until 4am, with the need to stay until 7am once a week. This individual must be licensed to drive doubles. Position: Transportation - Router and Scheduler
Description: The purpose of this position is to maximize outbound routes and driver efficiency while maintaining customer satisfaction and meeting delivery schedules. You will use a variety of tools made available through the latest technology such as Appian Logistics Direct route, PeopleNet and DR Track to optimize existing routes and model future routes in different scenarios. You will also rely on feedback from Drivers, Sales Representatives and Customers seeking ways to improve the overall delivery experience.

Essential Functions
- Use Direct Route to perform efficient daily routing of all customer orders.
- Maintain integrity of the Direct Route database by updating information on a regular basis.
- Utilize Direct Route and/or DR Track to model least cost scenarios.
- Ensure database is maintained and updated regularly.
- Work with Driver Supervisor scheduling and coordinating vacation or other absences for drivers.
- Ensure that adequate resources (drivers, tractors and trailers) are available to deliver daily routes.
- Gather and prepare the load sheet for night dispatch. Communicate truck needs to team.
- Update Sales and Customer Service on new customer route schedules.
- Coordinate special deliveries, sales requests and temporary routes.
- Meet with delivery drivers weekly and solicit feedback about routes and deliveries seeking to improve service to our Customers and increase route efficiency.
- Be available and respond to Drivers, Supervisors, and Warehouse questions at any time of the day.
- Set up and track new accounts to ensure requirements are met. New Customer set up completed within 72 hours of receiving completed route sheet from Credit or Sales.
- Meet with leadership from Operations as needed to review routing and opportunities for efficiency within the shipping and delivery process.

Job Requirements
- Previous routing experience utilizing a computerized system such as Direct Route is preferred.
- Proven problem solving and decision making skills are essential for this position, along with demonstrated analytical abilities.
- Good communication skills are necessary in dealing with various departments and drivers.
- Previous driving experience is helpful.
- This individual must enjoy multi-tasking, have a strong sense of urgency and is comfortable playing a key role in assuring - --- Delivery Drivers are routed and dispatched in the most efficient use of equipment and delivery.
- Must be comfortable dealing with others both internally and externally and have a strong, positive, customer-service attitude.
- Must be comfortable making sound decisions quickly and accurately.
- Ability to read, speak and interpret in English, documents such as DOT safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Position: Human Resources Assistant
Description: The HR Assistant (Part-time) will participate in helping to keep the warehouse and office fully staffed. This will include recruiting, interviewing, and performing orientations for new hires. Position: IT Systems and Software Trainer
Description: Summary
The I.T. Systems and Software Trainer will be responsible to lead training on hardware and software applications to include: NexGen Suites, Share Point Portals, iPad and Microsoft Suites. This person works directly with customers and sales staff ensuring that all software applications can be used properly. Documentation, follow-up and reporting are required during training sessions. Training development is an ongoing task and reviewed monthly to verify they meet customer needs and corporate direction. Corporate presentations and e-mail administration are also part of the job.

Essential Functions
• Train Sales staff and customers to use the NexGen Device and Suite of software. Training will be completed by phone or in person. Documentation, follow-up and reviews may be required prior to initial training session. NexGen Suites include:
o NexGen Ordering Software
o NexGen On-Line Ordering
o NexGen Order Check In
o NexGen Smart Ordering (PAR ordering)
o NexGen Inventory Application
o NexGen Web Portal (EC Web Client)
• Train customers to use the Synergy web-portal. Training will be completed by phone or in person. Some coordination with Sales Administration will occur concerning contract details and item verification. Some follow-up and review may be required with customers and Sales Administration prior to the initial training session. Synergy training will include:
o Basic sign-in and web portal functionality
o Digital file retrieval; invoices and credits
o Retail maintenance
o Item authorization
• Train Sales staff to use the SAS On-Line-Ordering application. Training will be completed by phone or in person. Follow-up and review may be required prior to the initial training session
• Complete basic training for SAS employees on the Microsoft Suite applications. Applications include:
o Outlook (e-mail)
o Excel
o Word
o Power Point
• Train Sales staff to use an iPad or other tablet device and all related applications. Training will be completed by phone or in person. Follow-up and review maybe required prior to the initial training session.
• Corporate presentations will be required per Sales request. Most presentations will be completed at the customer locations. The trainer will review NexGen and Synergy applications in a business model. The presentation will usually include a question and answer segment. Some questions may require additional review and research by the other Information Technology support staff.
• Training development will be required in written and online formats. Email and the Articulate Online training applications will be used most often. Training libraries will be developed, maintained and presented as needed.
