Telxon FAQs

(Q) I need to send my order. What number do I call?
(A) The number to call is 1-800-677-9052

(Q) How do I know my order was sent?
(A) After a successful transmission, you will receive a confirmation number, followed by your customer number. Write this number down for reference in case of any questions or concerns with the order and be sure the customer number is correct.

(Q) My Telxon won’t turn on. What might be the cause?
(A) Try replacing the batteries. It requires 3 AA batteries. The battery compartment is on the back of the device on the bottom.

(Q) I keep getting a transmission failure. How do I correct this?
(A) Be sure you are using a landline phone. Cell phones cannot be used to transmit orders. If there is any static on the line or background noise such as doorbells or register scan beeps, this may also disrupt the transmission. Move to a quieter location if possible and try again. You may also try putting a Kleenex between the phone mouthpiece and the telxon to reduce interference.

(Q) I received a duplicate order message. Why did this happen and what should I do?
(A) A duplicate order message indicates you did not clear our your last order before starting a new one. Please call Client Services so they may fix your transmission as a duplicate order will not upload. If you do not do this, you will not receive an order. Be sure to clear your prior order before beginning a new one each week to avoid duplicate orders in the future.
